Kitkast’s 1st Field Correspondent
After feeling crushed that I missed the Portable Media Expo this year, I was hoping to make it to the AVN Awards this weekend. The only problem is that it costs a fortune to stay in a hotel this week and I don’t want to get in trouble at work for taking too much vacation at once (I just started back at work today after two weeks off).
To my great pleasure, however, I received an e-mail just before Christmas from Parker who said that he will be attending the CES conference in Las Vegas this week and that he is also planning to take a trip across the strip to attend the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo. As a result, he has graciously volunteered to act as a Kitkast field correspondent and conduct interviews with others attending the Expo. He will later send the raw footage to me by mail for broadcast on Kitkast.
I just can’t express enough how exciting this is to me. I have received many acts of sincere kindness over the past three months since Kitkast first aired and this was indeed a scenario that I was fantasizing about. Parker is truly part of the new media movement, someone driven to get involved and willing to help the community that he holds dear. I’m really touched by his determination to help out with Kitkast.
A field correspondent section on www.kitkast.com will be created shortly. E-mail me if you too are interested in becoming a voluntary field correspondent for Kitkast.
