Kitkast in the Vancouver Sun

Well, I just flew in from Vancouver and boy are my arms tired! The strange thing is that I didn’t even notice this article referring to Kitkast until I got home today. Here’s what they said on the topic of videoblogs:
In a year and half, the number of video blogs has grown from a handful to over 500 including 37 in Canada, according to VlogMap.org. At sites like Mefeedia.com, Youtube.com, Clipshack.com and Ourmedia.org, V-loggers post and download each others’ videos and “podcasts” (the latter to Apple’s video iPod) shot using camcorders or phones.
The do-it-yourself programs represent a diverse mash: from the educational broadcasts of Edmonton teacher Danny Maas to popular mock newscasts by Rocketboom.com, or the sexually explicit reflections of Ms. Kitka (www.mskitka.com), whose weekly podcast is the most widely watched on the Internet, according to data tracker FeedBurner.
I wish I had known about the article before I had returned from Vancouver, perhaps I could have touched base with Sarah Staples of the CanWest News Service for further discussions on the matter.
