Kitka,

All good advice. I think my favorite thing about Kitkast is the style of it... the retro newsreel intro is really fun and completely avoids being cheesy although it could have been in lesser hands. I also like the way you jump cut between shots as you deliver bits of the stories. Keeps it fun and gives a sense of pacing that I like. Again, that's something that could have just been distracting, but works very well to give a sense of personal style. Cool.

Amanda- Thanks... like I said, it helps to make your video-podcast about something you enjoy, that way you'll always have fresh stuff to vlog about. Some people are very popular even without a theme, though... so vlog the way you want and keep blogging the way you want. After all, there IS such a thing as blogging-burnout... people get tired of it eventually!

Katie- You're right. The reason I'm making this "How To" is because I get at least 5 e-mails per week asking me how I do it. It will be easier to refer my viewers to the 5 or 6 posts I'll be making on different aspects of production instead of retyping emails each time. Also, I just don't think there's enough info out there for videobloggers... so I hope every bit counts. Who knows, maybe some webzine will pick up on the series and refer to it... that would be great.
