  • 9/28/2005 - I posted a press release to invite all porn connoisseurs to Celebrate National Porn Sunday with Porn.
  • 10/1/2005 - SugarBank (along with the rest of his posse of sex Bloggasm-supportive bloggers) posted a link to the same article in Simultaneous Bloggasm #2.
  • 10/5/2005 - I posted a second article advising my readers of some Helpful Tips for National Porn Sunday, including the ideas of buying, renting or making your own porn.
  • 10/6/2005 - I submitted the Helpful Tips post to the next installment of Bloggasm
  • 10/8/2005 - SugarBank (and the other Bloggasm bloggers) posted a link to my second post reminding the world about National Porn Sunday in Bloggasm #3.

    • Now, it seems like yesterday Fleshbot came out with a brilliant and original idea:

    This weekend’s awesome to do: buy lots of porn and see that the evils of porn are actually in the dialogue and lighting, not the happy feeling in your pants. This Sunday October 9 is National Porn Day, which for anti-porn pundits is a day of hand-wringing, self-loathing and trying to ‘save’ lots of people who are doing just fine, thanks for caring. Hands off my porn, or I get the paddle… (Dallas Morning News, don’t register)

    So, the question is: did the writer at Fleshbot read my posts? It’s not like I didn’t try to promote my idea… Hell, if I knew that the most successful sex blog in the world was going to write my ideas down a week and a half later, I wouldn’t have tried so hard to promote the idea! I could have submitted something more interesting this week to SugarBank’s Bloggasm…

    The only thing I ask of my fellow sex bloggers is to be courteous to each other… trackback to original ideas as much as possible.

    Anyways, disappointments aside… Zod and I have Pirates on hold for us at the local sex shop today. We went to the sex shop on Wednesday night to see if we could purchase the DVD to watch it on Sunday, but the damned thing cost $79.99 for a 3-disc collector’s edition set. Yeah, right… like I’m going to pay eighty bucks for a film I haven’t even seen yet! So, we’re going to rent the DVD later today and we will have a private screening either after midnight tonight or tomorrow before heading to the parents’ house for Canadian Thanksgiving.

    I will write a review of Pirates in the next couple of days and I invite all those of you partaking in the pro-porn version of National Porn Sunday to either write a review on your blog and post the link here in my comments or send me the review or your homemade porn by e-mail.

      I understand your frustration. However it seems quite within the realm of possibility that Violet did not read your articles. National Porn Sunday has been covered in dozens of papers this week. I’ve gotten lots of Google alerts about it. However, you not only covered it first but you covered it sexier ;)
