Eccentric film-maker DAVID CRONENBERG shocked his cast and crew on the set of new movie A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE, by publicly performing sex scenes with his wife.
The director hoped his explicit displays of affection with his wife would help stars VIGGO MORTENSEN and MARIA BELLO, who play man and wife in the film, feel more comfortable during their sex scenes together.
Wow! That’s really pouring yourself into the job! Is like my mistress Ms. Kitka says, pornographic behaviour is becoming more mainstream.

Cronenberg is a noted whack-job, but this is rather bizarre even for him. While I know that filming sex scenes is ANYTHING but sexy, If you can’t fake it for Mario Bello (YUMMY!), then maybe it’s time to seek a new line of work. On the other hand, he’s hardly an unattractive person himself…and if she could get naked with William Macy (THE COOLER), this one should be a snap!

Ya know, on a tangent, this reminds me of the sex scene between Banderas and Jolie in “original sin.” Recalling that only the director, one grip, one cameraman and the actors filmed that scene… and it’s the closest thing to “real porn” I’ve yet seen on the Big Silver. Fun stuff!
