Chitty chitty gang-bang

Monday, July 11th, 2005

So, apparently:

Software code developed by GTA Dutch fan Patrick Wildenborg is said to have unlocked mini-games in the PC version of San Andreas that allows players to make game characters perform sexually explicit acts.

Well, that’s nice… so why is everyone so worried? Oh, yeah… computer games lead to violence and rape, sorry I almost forgot!

It’s true that the Grand Theft Auto series is filled with sex and violence, but does it really turn our kids into monsters? I’m not in the mood today to look for examples or evidence to back my claims, but isn’t this game mostly played by middle class white kids? Oh, perhaps that’s why the media is so concerned… the media cares so much for those middle class white Christians these days.

Besides, how readily available is the code? Is it easy enough for gang-bangers and serial killers to understand? Are these sexual predators hip enough to know how to install the software?

Why do I get the idea that only smart coders like my darling Zod could download the code? Why am I not worried whether white middle-class little kids have the brain to figure it out… and if they can, why am I not worried that it will have any impact on their perfect suburban wigger lives?

Gees, isn’t it better that these people have virtual sex and violence at home instead of prowling the streets doing it for real? Anyways, I know that if Zod had GTA San Andreas I’d be asking him to download the code so that we could play the fun mini-games… good times.

Korean sex slaves? Not this time!

Thursday, July 7th, 2005

Horrible atrocities were committed during WWII that form the basis of continual Korean hatred of Japanese people and products. Korean women were either given ‘jobs’, kidnapped or trafficked to work as “comfort women” for Japanese soldiers.

Whenever Koreans believe that the Japanese are getting comfortable and forgetting to apologize for forcing their women into sexual slavery, they lead an uproar and make sure the world remembers what the evil Japanese empire did. For all of you who don’t know much about the lives of Korean comfort women, you should check out this article, a personal story of one woman’s life as a Korean sex slave.

Since I studied East Asian Culture from a mainly Korean standpoint at university, I basically learnt how horrible the Japanese were… but, now that I work for the Japanese I now see how unforgiving and unreasonable the Korean people can be.

While Korea is having a hissy fit over the actions of the Japanese Empire over forty years ago, they are also developing a very successful sex trade abroad and at home. The difference? Well, one is paid and the other unpaid.

But, as I’ve said before: “All’s fair in love and war”.

Perhaps these people should address their problems at home before nagging the Japanese to continuously apologize for the war. Koreans are probably just jealous because, although Japan lost the war, Japan is a more prosperous nation than them. After all, Japan IS part of the G8.

My rebuttal…

As my regular readers will remember, I was bombarded with comments from a bunch of British schoolgirls last month sticking up for their teacher’s idiotic decision to protest against WHSmith selling Playboy stationary. I must admit, these girls’ comments were both unexpected and welcome due to my amusement over their horrible spelling, naive knowledge of sex and unfounded insults.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to reply to the girls because, although many of them had MSN Spaces, they had not made their spaces public. I did, however, find a girl who commented on my site and who has since publicized her space. Her name is Juli (aka. Jeong Ji-Hoon) and after reviewing her space and re-reading her comment, I have decided to reply both on my own space as well as hers.

I will reply to her comment in sections to better break down her argument:

“Ok I go to coloma too and Miss Kirwan is my teacher. I fully understand where she is coming from. She just doesn’t want porn brands to sell their products on young children. Hate to break it to you but even though our school is called Coloma Convent, there are currently no nuns at coloma. Just because we are Catholics, we should not be discriminated by idiotic people such as yourself. The fact that we are Catholic has no reflection on what we think, just because we do think that porn brands should not be sold to young children, this does not mean that we all need to go to Ann Summers, which i presume is your favourite shop. Am i correct? ”

My dear child. I hate to break it to you, but I am also a Catholic. I also went to Catholic school from primary through to secondary school and I too had no teachers who were nuns. Simple mistake… my high school was called a high school, while yours is called a convent.

Although raised in the Catholic community, I do not concur with Ms Kirwan’s decision to punish WHSmith instead of the parents responsible for the children buying the stationary. Parents should have more involvement in what their children are buying and the school should notify the parents whether they wish to ban such products from school premises, but not take the fight up with the bookstore. Since the products are non-ponographic, they need not be taken off the shelves… the responsibility lies on the teens at your school and their paying parents.

Just because a person is Catholic doesn’t mean they will agree with Ms. Kirwan and your assessment of the situation. I know many Catholics who would disagree with you on this subject. I think that perhaps you misunderstand the word ‘discrimination’ because I was not discriminating against Catholics in my commentary, I was discriminating against people who decide they know what is best for others. I still stand by my statement that your teacher needs to get a life instead of inflicting her beliefs on others.

As for you calling me idiotic… I shall forgive you for your lack of self-control in calling people names… I will excuse it as being your angst-ridden age. You probably lash out at others simply because you are unhappy with yourself.

“So you are a size 6, what is your point? The article clearly refers to the playboy girls, oh wait, you must be one! I mean after all you do know many of the playboy traits.. May i just say that clearly from your picture anyone can tell that you are probably an employer of Hugh Heffner. Is he good in bed? Or is his dick too big for you? Maybe you like wearing the bunny outfits and going around in a skimpy bikini but others actually have morals and what people nowadays know as dignity. If you don’t know what this word means, by all means go on www.dictionary.com.”

Thank you for the kind link, kiddo, but I am well acquainted with that web site and often enjoy sending the link to naive children such as yourself.

Yes, I am a size 6. My point being that the women in Playboy magazine are definitely not a size 6 UK… although perhaps more like a size 6 US (size 12 UK). Your teacher said in the original article that women in Playboy are a size 6 and that this is a negative image to portray to young women. The problem with her statement was that it is not female porn stars in Playboy that are that size, but female models in popular teen magazines! Models are a size 6… porn stars are more buxom. I invite you to do research on this since I am confident that you will find Playboy bunnies to be more ‘Victorian’ than the average stick figure found in women’s magazines.

I noticed on your site that you want to lose weight and that you want to look like a model… perhaps the insults you throw my way are out of jealousy.

As for my current employment; I presently work for a United Nations foreign office… if you don’t believe me I can refer you to many different web sites that prove my identity. I can assure you that my curriculum vitae is quite impressive.

You are right about one thing, though, I really would like to get my hands onto a vintage Playboy bunny suit!

“oH.. I just read the post below. Strip class eh.. Hugh really paying you that much? So you want to be a good little girl for your master? Aww.. How sweet! Wow… You really must like being an employer, want to improve your skills eh? Make you seem more irrestible? Think about it, with all that money you make you can buy the whole playoby range of stationary at WHSmith! In conclusion to this, you need a job and by that i mean a REAL job, one that would look good on your cv.”

That’s right kiddo. I take strip dancing classes enjoy every class… Hugh doesn’t pay me at all, but the UN is paying me very well. As for being irresistible, just ask my boyfriend and my male companions before him… I’m sure they can all vouch for my sex appeal.

I haven’t bought any Playboy stationary because they weren’t selling it in stores when I was at university… I have, however, bought a Playboy t-shirt, vest, belt, bag, jewelery, hat and matching mittens.

I have a great job and a fabulous CV… you simply need a job to put on your CV. Grow up, get an education and get a job, then perhaps you can start debating appropriately with intellect instead of insult.

Holy Schoolgirls, Batman!

Saturday, July 2nd, 2005

Some of my more loyal readers may recall my post about the teacher in the UK who was going to take WHSmith to court over selling Playboy stationary… others may recall my post commenting on the sheer volume of comments I received from the naive teenaged girls replying to my first post.

Well, kids… those naive little schoolgirls started protesting yesterday. I urge you to read the story by clicking here.

The best part of the article is that they portray these teens as being so smart and mature about the situation. Yes, the girls got together to protest. Yes, the girls chanted slogans. Yes, the girls got passers by to sign a petition. Yes, the event was witnessed by the BBC. However, what I want to know is why they were so organized? Did the organization have anything to do with the teacher who originally decided to take legal action on WHSmith? Why do I get the feeling that they were urged to do this? Perhaps they were brainwashed into thinking this is the RIGHT thing to do…

The worst part of the situation is that the media will probably never see the girls’ ignorance and naive opinions about the situation. The media probably won’t see the idiotic insults the girls left on my site. The media will never know how brainwashed these girls are into thinking that THEY are they only people who buy stationary.

These girls just don’t realize that pink and black are the official colours of Playboy. They don’t realize that Playboy is a truly classy magazine that doesn’t show anorexic women, but instead busty well-fed ladies. They don’t understand the difference between taking strip dance classes and being a stripper. And they certainly don’t see the difference between taking those strip dance classes and getting STDs. These girls lack sound reasoning and I fear the media will never see this naive nature. I fear the media will spin the story to make these girls look like conservative saviours.

I think that Spiklos (http://spaces.msn.com/members/spiklos/) said it best when he said that “these 9-10 yr old girls probably don’t buy their own stationary” and that “their parents buy their school supplies”. The two parties that should be accountable for children using Playboy stationary are the parents who buy the school supplies and the schools for having the responsibility to ban the logo as they see fit. As I stated in my first post on the original news article, these products are probably directed towards university students… high school kids are not the only ones who need stationary. Black and pink are the official colours of Playboy, they are not colours used to get high school girls to buy their products… besides, pink is a very fashionable colour for adult females today. Also, when people do in to buy stationary, how are they to know that there is an ‘adult section’? There is no logic in having an adult stationary section because no one would go out of their way to go in the back room to see it… no one would buy the product and it would be the only product in the section!

These girls need to grow up, watch porn and lose their naive virginity. I deem them The Catholic Crusade of Cunts.
