Revenge of the Gang-bang

I tried to compose a commentary on an article on the Pakistani woman who was gang-raped on the orders of a traditional village Council in 2002, but I just can’t seem to find the words.

I remember hearing about the story a couple of years ago, but the story is back in the news today after the ban was lifted that now allows Ms. Mai to travel again after a fear that she would travel to the United States to raise awareness on her case.

The men involved certainly didn’t get punished enough… they should have all been individually gang-raped (by other men), beaten to a pulp and their penises chopped off. That is justice. Unfortunately, 13 out of 14 of the original accused were let off with nothing while the last man got a life sentence. Ridiculous.
